Gang Green is a dangerous, overwhelming power. That power lock must be broken – Big Green’s well-financed hold on fisheries policy

environmental-watchdog[1]For more than a decade, the National Marine Fisheries Service has devoured fishing fleets while Big Green’s money octopus prods the feds by waving grant-eating enviros in its tentacles, causing them to hook the public’s attention with mindless frenzy against “overfishing.” Biologist Jane Lubchenco, head of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration — who resigned in February — was arguably the brainiest and most viciously crass NOAA administrator ever. Members of Congress called for her resignation for destroying fishing fleets in struggling coastal communities using Big Green’s brutal “catch shares” rationing program, and for tolerating fisherman fines enforced by corrupt federal cops. Before NOAA, the Packard Foundation gave Lubchenco’s Aldo Leopold Leadership Program $2.1 million to enable scientists to lead politicians and the public with scientific-technical control of public policy.  Nils Stolpe, veteran executive, consultant, and advocate for the commercial fishing community, sorted those numbers from Internal Revenue Service Form 990 reports and posted the result on his FishNet USA website. The Washington Examiner used Stolpe’s findings to construct the diagram. more@washingtonexaminer   07:02

    CONQUEST OF THE OCEAN
    INTRODUCTION
This is the story of how a handful of scientists set out from Oregon with an unshakable belief that they knew what was best for the rest of us. They ended up conquering the world (or at least the watery portions of it) and got rich along the way, while the fishermen and their families only worked harder and got poorer. When their scientific dogma connected with nearly unlimited resources, the earth quaked and the resulting tidal wave swept aside all the usual checks and balances. It carried along the media, the politicians, the government agencies and the non-governmental organizations with such force that seemingly no one could stand against the tide.

BIG GREEN IS COMMERCIAL FISHING WORST NIGHTMARE.SOME ENVIRONMENTIST GROUP ARE FAIR,I BELIEVE MOST ARE NOT BECAUSE, THEY ARE DOING THE DIRTY WORK FOR BIG BUSINESS AND RECEIVING BILLIONS OF DOLLARS FOR THIER DIRTY WORK.ALSO IT IS TAXDUCIABLE FOR THESE COMPANIES WHO ARE SUPPORTING THESE GREEN GROUPS THAT ARE TRYING TO STOP COMMERCIAL FISHING.

I HOPE BIG GREEN MANS UP AND THINKS OUR ENVIRONMENT AND THE SMALL PEOPLE INSTEAD MONEY.

The Wicked Witch of the West (The Most Dangerous Woman on the Planet) broomed her way into the East and swept away Our Traditional Fisheries. Her flying Primates were already firmly in place and fleecing the Fleet in their UNTOUCHABLE manner. The Racket was so intriguing she had to get into the GAME herself as Judge, Jury, and Executioner.

If it turns Green it’s usually time to throw it out.

We can’t forget Janie’s contribution to the BP Gulf MEGA SPILL . The wonders of “COREXIT” out sight out of MIND!

What a Legacy you’ve left Dr. Lubchenco.

    SHAME

So far they haven’t approved my comment, I posted this with my comment:

    (03/10/2002) Leading U.S. marine biologist
Jane Lubchenco says problems facing world’s
    oceans – including global warming,
overfishing, and “dead zones” due to
fertilizer runoff from farms – are so serious
that scientists must become activists to
    protect them.

My comment got posted at the washington examiner article. With Borehead, that makes a good 1-2 punch to gang green!

  5. For those wondering where Lady Jane, has been after her 4 years of fishermen-cleansing policies on the taxpayers dime, she now is going to where the real money is, no not in working for the government or in academia, but has become a Packard Foundation Trustee….. and continues the devils work on Climate Change issues (http://wwwp.dailyclimate.org/…/opinion-lubchenco…) The question that the American public should be asking, why hasn’t she been brought before Daryl Issa’s – Oversight Committee to investigate her actions in not only causing billions dollars of economic harm to fishermen within the New England Ground Fishery and the communities that depend on fishing related activities, but as much, in holding a doctoral degree in marine biology (Harvard of course), why didn’t she recommend to the Obummer Administration TO NOT go ahead with the dumping TWO MILLION GALLONS OF A toxic substance, COREXIT into the Gulf of Mexico? Yes, Janie-Baby does have a face for radio, but that shouldn’t be the issue here…..it should be about her “EDF-playbook” actions while she was at the helm at NOAA. Just remember, since President Zero has been in office, its always been about the progressive ideology and of course, the optics. Here is some very interesting reading about Dr. Jane: Government and Lubchenco dispersing lies about Corexit to the Arctic now – http://www.stuarthsmith.com/government-and-lubchenco…/… “You may recall that it was less than two months ago that here on the blog we were reporting on highly reputable scientific research that proved Corexit was indeed harmful. It is much, much more harmful than either Lubchenco’s NOAA or BP — which sprayed an appalling 2 million gallons of this toxin into the Gulf to make its spilled oil disappear from sight, even as pollution was spread along a much wider area — had let on.”

There is NO ACCOUNTABILITY with this administration. With apologies to Betty Davis, “Fasten your seatbelts, it’s going to be a bumpy ride for the next three years!”
