FAU fires dolphin rescue instructor because they were made liable for some minor damages (Like a thousand bucks) by his actions. Like many institutions today they would prefer people to stand around with their heads up their asses instead of taking a chance and doing what they know in their hearts is right.
The act of saving someone’s life is taking a chance.
The act of helping people in time’s of duress, is taking a chance.
All true American Heroes had to take some risk in order to get the job done.

The US is being run by douchebaggy Wall Street types and paper pushers who have no clue about what it means to do what you think is right in difficult and averse circumstances. I think they should give the man his job back and fire the spineless weasels that believe the mission is less important than avoiding any minor liabilities that might bother the insurance adjusters.
