New Orleans – Waters closed for over 4 years reopen to commercial, recreational fishing

Waters around Plaquemines, South Jefferson and Lafourche Parishes reopened to commercial and recreational fishing on Monday.  The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries has re-opened a number of state inshore and Gulf of Mexico waters that were previously closed due to oiling from the 2010 Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill. <Read more here> 10:10
