BP oil spill claims adjuster pleads guilty to $257,400 wire fraud

A former BP oil spill claims adjuster pleaded guilty Wednesday to filing false claims for people who were not affected by the 2010 disaster. Charlie English III, 33, of LaPlace, admitted filing six bogus claims, According to court records, English recruited people to pose as commercial fishing workers who had lost their jobs or income as a result of the spill.
