U.S. Coast Guard hands off massive Bering Sea search to South Korea

The U.S. Coast Guard has transferred search duties in the Bering Sea sinking of a fishing vessel to South Korea’s navy, with more than two dozen people still missing. Coast Guard spokesman Petty Officer 1st Class Shawn Eggert said Monday that members of the Republic of Korea Navy have assumed full responsibility in the search for crew members of the Oryong 501.
