New Jersey: Coast Guard issues report on off-shore gas port

A new report by the U.S. Coast Guard concludes that a proposed liquefied natural gas port off the New Jersey coast would have minimal impact to the air, water, marine life and sediment on the ocean floor around the site. The proposal by Liberty Natural Gas would include a port at sea to extract liquefied natural gas from specially designed ships that convert it back into a gas form so it could be pumped to shore on Long Island. Something about foxes guarding hen houses?

“The environmental impact statement was prepared for the U.S. Coast Guard by its contractor, Tetra Tech Inc.”

    From their site:
    About Tetra Tech (www.tetratech.com)

“Tetra Tech is a leading provider of consulting, engineering, program management, construction management, and technical services.”

Construction Management? Do you suppose their interest here might encompass more than the well-being of the local community and the local commercial fishing industry?

Hey Dicky, thanks for pointing this one out. People need to see what is going on and who the Players are. No one realizes that Ocean Gridding is in it’s Infancy and we’re going to have a MAJOR BABY HUEY on our HANDS in the near FUTURE at the cost of OUR PERSONAL FREEDOMS, Not to mention the potential for MAN made DISASTER like BP’s MESS in the GULF of MEXICO. “T,O,O,P,” has stolen our COMMON PROPERTY and have put them at RISK.

Take a look at Tetra’s other Divisions. Canadian, American, and Australia. They have a front row seat and getting paid to do it. They have Mining operations for a variety of Precious Metals, Iron Ore, and other minerals. I bet they’re getting right GRIDDY w/ contracts like this.

All part of Husseins big plans for the ocean….sans fishermen or the American fishing industry.
Who knows where this is going with this If Romney would of won the general election in 2012. Somehow from what I have read, this seems inevitable right off our shores.

Seeing that it stems from an Executive Order T.O.O.P., one man’s decision not a Congressional consensus like the initial House Bill H.R. 3534 “The Clear Act” which failed. How about Socialism?
