Lake Manitoba Commercial Fishermen’s Association Plans Strategy

Members of the Lake Manitoba Commercial Fishermen’s Association, South Basin gathered in Portage la Prairie yesterday to plan their strategy concerning jackfish in the lake. They believe an increase in the jackfish population’s impacted the perch and pickerel fishery, to the point where fishers can no longer make a living.
