Researchers at Oregon State University’s Marine Mammal Institute, Moss Landing Marine Labs, Alaska SeaLife Center and San Jose State will conduct captures of harbor seals within Alsea Bay April 7 and in Netarts Bay April 8 and 9. These captures will be boat-based and will involve researchers catching and restraining adult male seals for a short period of time.
