GULF OF MAINE CODFISH SURVEYS BY NOAA THAT ARE DONE IN APRIL , THIS IS THE SAME TIME AS CODFISH ARE IN SPAWNING MODE AND ARE IN CONCENTRATED GROUPS .NOAA DO NOT SURVEYS ANY SPAWNING AREAS !
MY FAMILY HAS FISHED THE GULF OF MAINE FOR 100 YEARS AND KNOW THEIR ARE VAST AREAS OF CODFISH LESS BOTTOMS ., THAT NOAA ALWAYS SEEMS TO HAVE THESE AREAS ON THEIR SURVEYS !
EXAMPLE; DOING A POPULATION SURVEYS , YOU WOULD GO INTO BIG CITIES AND LESS POPULATED PLACES TOO AND TAKE THE AVERAGE, BUT NOAA GOES INTO DEAD CODFISH AREAS TO DO THEIR SURVEYS AND USES THAT AVERAGE ,WHICH IS NOT A TRUE PICTURE OF CODFISH STOCKS IN THE GULF OF MAINE . FISHERMEN WHO FISH G. O M. SHOULD HAVE INPUT WHERE THESE SURVEYS ARE MADE !!

    IIIIIIIIIIIIIII SOME
