Approval of GM salmon eggs will be challenged in Canadian court

The Ecology Action Centre and Living Oceans Society have partnered together in challenging Environment Canada’s decision to approve genetically modified Atlantic salmon eggs. The case will be heard in Ottawa’s Federal Court on Tuesday. The environmental groups contend the government agency did not follow its own legislative rules and conduct a full risk assessment before allowing Massachusetts-based biotech firm, AquaBounty Technologies, to produce GM-salmon eggs on Prince Edward Island.     Why do you put an ocean pout photo, when you talk about salmon?

      Click the link and read the article! While you’re at it, notice the photo of the Ocean Pout. It’s genetics are the reason the Aqua Bounty Franken Fish grows twice as fast. I don’t consider this stuff as salmon.
