CAL Cargo launches overseas lobster flights from Halifax

A new cargo carrier is flying tonnes of Nova Scotia lobster to Europe and Asia this month. The Halifax International Airport Authority announced CAL Cargo Airlines, which specializes in time- and temperature-sensitive cargo, made its first visit to Halifax Stanfield International Airport on Tuesday. The flights, scheduled to also depart Sunday and Dec. 27, are destined for Liege, Belgium, where CAL Group of Israel operates a hub.
