Lobster emoji is redesigned after backlash from crabby Maine residents

The company responsible for making new emojis had to change the design for their lobster after an outcry erupted over the number of legs it had. Unicode Consortium announced Wednesday that the crustacean emoji would be a part of the new 157 emojis, slated to be released later this year. But Maine residents soon had issue with the image’s eight legs, because lobsters have 10.  ‘Sen.
