R.I. teenagers survived hell on Earth in D-Day invasion

There aren’t many of them left, and here were two of the last — American soldiers who landed on D-Day. Seventy-five years ago. Ernie Corvese is 93 and Richard Fazzio 94, both among the first to come ashore into German fire on June 6, 1944. They are elderly now, but giants, too — men who stopped tyranny, pushed it back across Europe and killed it.
