How and why did you start in business? After leaving school I started my career as a fish salesman in Kinlochbervie, where I grew up. I continued as a fish salesman in Aberdeen when completing an MBA at Aberdeen University. The fishing industry is in my blood, and in 1996 I moved to Scrabster to run a local fish-selling company. A Decade old interview with a Maine Lobsterman

Now you’re probably asking yourself why you’d want to watch an interview that is more than 10 years old of a Maine lobsterman. And my best answer? Nostalgia. The video is by a channel called Organic Nation and was posted on their page back in October of 2009. So, technically, this video is actually more than a decade old. Video: Lone fisherman who survived shipwreck off Martha’s Vineyard recalls harrowing ordeal

Ernesto Garcia, 50, was aboard the F/V Leonardo — a 56-foot scallop boat — that capsized and sank on Sunday afternoon as nine-foot swells and gusty winds battered the area. INTERVIEW: Capt. Wild Bill readies for new season of ‘Deadliest Catch’

Deadliest Catch kicks off its 11th season 9 p.m. Tuesday, April 14 with a cutthroat episode that looks at the always treacherous profession of king-crab fishing in the Alaskan Bering Sea. The captains profiled on the show have become household names among reality-TV fans, and one of the most memorable is Capt. Wild Bill Wichrowski.,, Wichrowski said the 11th season will be different because Discovery Channel has “upped the scale of the camera equipment.” So, even though the story lines will be familiar, the visuals should be even more stunning.
