Massive tiger shrimp invaders likely have settled in Louisiana to stay

A recent study reports that the enormous shrimp invaders will become “established” in the Gulf of Mexico within 10 years. That means the species is becoming a self-sustaining, breeding population and was not just a sudden boom that soon will vanish. And, yes, the massive shellfish are edible.
