Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries enforcement agents cited a Lafitte man for alleged commercial fishing violations in Jefferson Parish on Aug. 2. Agents cited Tracy Bruce, 46, for theft of crab traps, taking commercial fish without a license, taking commercial fish without a commercial gear license, using crab traps without required markings, illegal removal of contents and operating an unregistered motorboat. Texas men accused of fishing violations in Cameron Parish, La.
According to a news release from the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, on Sept. 20, agents arrested 21-year-old Jireh A. Slaughter and 20-year-old Tevvin T. Jones, both of Orange, Texas. The two are facing charges of theft of crabs, taking commercial fish without a license, without a gear license and without a vessel license, violating interstate commerce regulations and resisting an officer by flight. more@wpld.com 16:05
