November 9, 2012 — Today, NOAA conducted a Fishermen’s Northeast Groundfish Science Forum in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, allowing fishermen and members of the public to interact with NOAA officials on groundfish science.

    Maybe a NMFS bureaucrat should go out on a fishing boat, and witness how the big boys are cleaning out Stellwagen as I type this? Why just last week I heard that they were scoring 10,000+ pounds per tow. Must be nice fishing without limits…

      They don't really care.
      If they cared about the fish, they'd get creative instead of wrecking everything.
      I'm drinking my first cup. I'll be pissed off in a bit.
