Hibernia faces charges following oil leak from offshore platform

ST. JOHN’S, N.L. – Newfoundland and Labrador’s offshore energy regulator announced Friday that it has laid charges in connection to a 2013 crude oil spill from the Hibernia platform. The Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Offshore Petroleum Board says the Hibernia Management and Development Company faces four charges in relation to the spill.
