‘Let it Spoil’ campaign as fish prices skyrocket – Prices begin to drop in local markets as citizens boycott fish

Citizens kicked off “Let it Spoil” campaign yesterday by boycotting fish in order to arrest skyrocketing prices of different varieties of fish in Kuwait market. As the campaign started yesterday, the fish market at Souq Sharq presented a totally different picture with the conspicuous absence of regular customers and the usual ear-shattering noises of bargaining. The Kuwait Times visited the market to find out if the campaign had really started to make any impact on the prices.
