P.E.I. Fishermen’s Association asking for separate deputy minister
The P.E.I. Fishermen’s Association is asking the province to appoint a separate deputy minister of fisheries. Association President Craig Avery says the association took a wait-and-see approach when Premier Wade MacLauchlan combined the agriculture and fisheries portfolio following last May’s election.
