The S-K Fund: NOAA is recommending almost $9 million in funding for 38 projects across the nation.
For more than 40 years, NOAA has awarded grant funding under the Saltonstall-Kennedy (S-K) program to organizations across the country. Funds address needs of fishing communities, support economic opportunities, and build and maintain resilient and sustainable fisheries. Demand for innovation, information, service and funding from federal agencies continues to grow. This year, NOAA received 155 applications requesting nearly $40 million.
