A powerful fishing magnate has been forced to quit a network of companies in the UK after becoming embroiled in a major corruption probe. Thorsteinn Mar Baldvinsson’s family-run fishing empire has a major hold on Britain’s lucrative cod rights and sells fish to supermarkets including Tesco, Marks & Spencer and Sainsbury’s, as well as fish and chip shops across the UK.
