    “The endangered species act was meant to protect things and bring them back,” Shively said. “The act is now being used by the environment movement to stop development.”

    I am against Pebble Mine, but this statement by Mr. Shively s absolutely correct, because that IS what they shamelessly do.
    I hope fishermen in Alaska are smart enough to realize that.
