‘Deadliest Catch’ Star Jake Harris Sentenced To Prison After Police Chase
Jacob “Jake” Harris, who headlined the show until 2012, was convicted of driving under the influence and possession with intent to manufacture or distribute heroin. He pleaded guilty to the felony charges and was sentenced on Aug. 1. Harris, 33, is the younger brother of Josh Harris, who currently captains the multi-million dollar fishing vessel, the Cornelia Marie, on “Deadliest Catch.” He’s being transferred to a Washington state penitentiary today, according to the Skagit County District Attorney’s Office. >click to read< 13:25

Former ‘Deadliest Catch’ star Jake Harris arrested for car theft, drug possession
Ex-“Deadliest Catch” star Jake Harris is in a sea of trouble. The former reality star was arrested over the weekend after allegedly stealing a car and for drug possession, according to TMZ. Harris, 31, reportedly drove from Washington to Phoenix with an unidentified married woman, then took off with her car Friday morning, according to the gossip website. Phoenix police reportedly found Harris at a Circle K on Saturday with Xanax and crystal meth. Harris was charged with one count of theft, one count of dangerous drug possession and one count of prescription drug possession, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office. Jake Harris, best known as a reality TV fisherman on Discovery Channel’s “Deadliest Catch,” was involved in a brutal mugging this past Saturday in Washington state that left the star with a cracked skull and close to death. Though the police had some information about the attack, they weren’t acting fast enough for Harris’s brother, Josh. Josh Harris, looking to avenge his brother’s violent attack, took matters into his own hands. Josh, upset by a lack of action from the police, asked the community for help. 2 arrested in assault of ‘Deadliest Catch’ star Jake Harris
Authorities in Washington state said Tuesday that two people accused of beating one of the stars of the TV series “Deadliest Catch” over the weekend were arrested. The Spokesman-Review reported that Amanda Ritter, 30, and Jorel Fultz, 29, were arrested and booked into the Spokane County Jail on suspicion of robbing Jake Harris. Everett police said they received a report of a male victim of assault Saturday after Harris had been found on the side of the road in Everett. Police spokesperson Aaron Snell said personal items were taken from Harris. Jake Harris of ‘Deadliest Catch’ recovering after severe beating
Jake Harris of television series “Deadliest Catch” is recovering in a hospital after a severe beating over the weekend. Jake Harris’ brother, Cornelia Marie Captain Josh Harris, shared details of his brother’s attack in two live videos on the official Facebook page for Deadliest Catch – F/V Cornelia Marie. Josh Harris said Jake was jumped late Saturday and was in an intensive care unit with a “cracked skull” and brain trauma. The victim’s brother said Jake was beaten and then thrown out of a moving vehicle onto the side of the freeway. People in a car behind the suspects called 911 to get help. Josh said Jake had gotten a ride home from a couple who had been at the Quil Ceda Creek Casino near Marysville, but it was unclear if that’s where Jake had met the couple and where the actual beating took place.
