Rare deep-sea fish washes ashore in Gustavus
A ragfish, measuring 65 inches long, was spotted near the dock in , the town that serves as the headquarters for Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve, officials said. Second Ragfish Washes Up in Juneau
An unusual creature from the deep sea has made another appearance in Juneau. The Juneau Empire reports a resident this month spotted a dead ragfish on Lena Beach. Another was found in May. more@ktuu
