Deep sea fishermen join activists at the Boston Seafood Expo to demand Wi-Fi on all boats
Indonesian fisherman Susanto says he was on a Taiwanese commercial fishing vessel in the Pacific Ocean in 2022 when a fishhook flew out of a fish and embedded in his eye. On Sunday, Susanto was in Boston at the Seafood Expo North America demanding that industry leaders hear what happened to him and help provide internet access to fishermen far from home. “That’s why we campaign for Wi-Fi. Coronavirus: Seafood expo postponed over COVID-19 concerns
The annual Seafood Expo North America was expected to welcome thousands of industry buyers and suppliers from around the world in Boston for a three-day convention starting March 15. Gloucester to attend Super Bowl of fish

There was no shortage of foreign languages filtering around the cavernous exhibition hall at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center when the international Seafood Expo North America show opened Sunday. Minister Shea announces that Canadian seafood exports continued to grow in 2013
March 16, 2014 – Boston, Massachussets The Honourable Gail Shea, Minister of Fisheries and Oceans, today released the 2013 trade figures for Canada’s exports of fish and seafood products. Once again, Canada’s seafood exports continued an upward trend, with an overall increase of $268 million or 6.5 percent over the previous year, with total sales reaching $4.42 billion.
