White House, Senate reach deal on $2 trillion stimulus package
The revamped Senate proposal will inject approximately $2 trillion into the economy, providing tax rebates, four months expanded unemployment benefits and a slew of business tax-relief provisions aimed at shoring up individual, family and business finances. US downgrades Thailand to lowest ranking in human trafficking index for ‘systematic failure’ to prosecute slavers
In January this year the Thai embassy in Washington signed a $400,000-plus deal with leading US law firm Holland & Knight. Today the White House released the 3rd National Climate Assessment. The report finds that climate change is not a distant threat, but it is affecting the American people already.
