Democrats’ Green Agenda Will Gut America’s Oldest Industry And Turn Coastal Towns Into The New Appalachia
Biden’s regulators are driving fishermen of all kinds off the water in droves, while offshore wind development his administration backs is threatening access to productive fishing grounds. Coastal towns keyed to commercial fishing—like Stonington, Maine or Grand Isle, Louisiana—are facing social and economic oblivion. Fishermen are not a powerful political constituency. They do not give lavishly to politicians or command a powerful lobby in Washington. This is ridiculous…forcing 10’s of thousands of people into poverty because like the article says, fishing is a full time job and doesn’t allocate the money, time and resources to our “elected representatives”. Instead the companies who stand to get rich, line the pockets of the politicians who need the money for their campaigns and in turn “owe them”, so of course they are going to vote for them. What is truly sickening about this is they have gone out of their way to paint commercial fishermen cruel, heartless people who are in it for the money when the wind farms have killed more whales in their first year than all of the different fisheries and they have the nerve to call it “green energy”, last time I checked, green energy doesn’t kill endangered species. I live under 3 windmills and they bother me and I’m half deaf, whales, dolphins, sharks, any fish that use a type of sonar to detect objects, so the electromagnetic waves cause them to be blind, not to mention the pain it’s causing them. This like so many other things that our government is or has done have our forefathers rolling over in their graves because they gave their lives to free us from tyranny. The time for change is Now! We are the people, we have the power to abolish this “government” and do it right, we’ve had over a century of mistakes that are getting international and wrong so the ultra rich get richer and kill off the other 99% which are just lowly working class losers to the rich that look down on us!
