F/V Lydia and Maya fisherman Martin Gorham – Search has been suspended
BOSTON — The Coast Guard is searching for a fisherman who went overboard from the fishing vessel Lydia & Maya approximately 32 miles southeast of Cape Ann, Mass., Thursday. Watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector Boston received a report at approximately 12:30 p.m. Thursday, from the 71-foot fishing vessel Lydia & Maya, homeported in Boston, stating that a 47-year-old male crewmember had gone overboard and they were unable to find him. more@uscgnews 18:28

I’m sick knowing the anguish these good people are going through, and I pray for this lost fisherman.
Our prayers for Marty, His family and with Chris and all the other searchers, God please help them all.
Please pray that the recover his body before this nasty weather moves in, my brother was a great fisherman, 30+ years of this worry, now its here

Sorry my mind is a bit scrabled today. I want to say thank you to the crew of the Lydia and Maya we know you did all you could to save my brothwrs life. Justin I’m not sure his last name, your actions will mever be forgotten. This man fearlessly jumped into that freezing cold water to try to save my brother life. Thank you again for all your efforts.
This is Justin Marty’s crew mate he was a great man and I appreciate every moment I had with him I will miss him dearly.

To Shannon Gorham, Barbra Foster, all family and Haley and Theresa, Zoi and I (Angi) her mom, will continue to pray for the locating of his body. We never know when God will call us home.
