The sickest thing about this industry is self monitored internally with no accountability to the science or environment, No transparency in enforcement. The fishermen on this coast are held hostage with this so-called precautionary approach, and no longer can make a living any longer. We even adapted to a selective fishery to insure the sustainability of resources into the future. Get with the program DFO do your jobs in protecting and informing or get the hell our and let the people that care and want to protect all resources in the long term.
