Deadliest Catch: Where is Captain Casey McManus anyway?!!
High-stakes reality series “Deadliest Catch” is back on Discovery Channel for its 19th season. But a few familiar faces are missing from the popular show. Former cast member Josh Harris does not appear in the new episodes. Nor does his one-time partner Captain Casey McManus of the F/V Cornelia Marie. Instead, McManus has taken a job that keeps him a bit closer to shore. While Discovery Channel had cut ties with Harris, McManus’ future on the show was unclear. ‘Deadliest Catch’ boats bring Bering Sea whiskey to Seattle
“We just put it right up in the bow and let the boat do the rest of the work,” said Captain Josh Harris of the F/V Cornelia Marie. “The hardest part about the whiskey is not getting into it after a bad day of fishing,” laughed Captain Casey McManus, also of the Cornelia Marie. Former Deadliest Catch Star Beaten Almost to Death. Then His Big Brother Found The Attackers
Jake Harris, best known as a reality TV fisherman on Discovery Channel’s “Deadliest Catch,” was involved in a brutal mugging this past Saturday in Washington state that left the star with a cracked skull and close to death. Though the police had some information about the attack, they weren’t acting fast enough for Harris’s brother, Josh. Josh Harris, looking to avenge his brother’s violent attack, took matters into his own hands. Josh, upset by a lack of action from the police, asked the community for help. ‘Deadliest Catch’ Season 13: Captains Bill Wichrowski and Keith Colburn’s life more appealing than Josh Harris?
Discovery Channel’s “Deadliest Catch” season 13 is already up for production and already a captain is not coming back. Rumors are swirling that the lives of Captains Wild Bill Wichrowski and Keith Colburn are more appealing than that of Josh Harris. “This a critical year, because a lot of those boats are up for contracts because they thought the show was only to run for 10 years, myself included,” Wichrowski said. “This is my contract year. I’m seriously trying to get Zack into the wheelhouse and that’s going to take a little time. So we’ll see what happens. Aside from Captain Wichrowski, another Captain is also adjusting to his life these days after his divorce. Deadliest Catch Captains Making Mischief for charity at The Captain’s Whiskey Slam
In what may very well be the most chest-hair-growing partnership in modern memory, Fremont Mischief Distillery has teamed up with Deadliest Catch celebrity crab captains Sig Hansen and Casey McManus, as well as co-captain Josh Harris, to make whiskey for charity at The Captain’s Whiskey Slam. Fremont Mischief’s new rye whiskey, Storm Tossed Rye, is a special batch that has been barrel-aged aboard Sig Hansen’s Northwestern and Casey McManus’ and Josh Harris’ Cornelia Marie. The whiskey batch, aged on the two different boats, is going head-to-head in true Deadliest Catch competition style. The goal is to sell all of the Storm Tossed Ryewhiskey between the release date, August 20, and October 1 in order to donate $40,000 to Seattle’s Fisherman Memorial and Sea Scouts’ Propeller and Yankee Clipper educational vessel efforts. The vision for the event comes from Doug Dixon, manager of Pacific Fishermen Shipyard, and Mike Sherlock, owner of Fremont Mischief Distillery and 29-year veteran of commercial fishing.
