NOFTA membership wants changes in fisheries management so their communities can survive

The North of Fifty-Thirty Association (NOFTA) is working to identify issues and solutions for the fishery on the Great Northern Peninsula. CBC_News_logoFederal Fisheries Minister Gail Shea is declining interviews on a controversial cut to inshore shrimp quotas. Newfoundland and Labrador`s representative in the federal cabinet, ACOA Minister and Nova Scotia MP Rob Moore is doing the same.
