N.C. Charter Boat Captains not happy with proposed rules – Video
There weren’t very many positive words for the Marine Fisheries Commission at a public meeting Wednesday night. Charter boat captains are not happy with some proposed rules, especially with their log books. Captains would have to record what they see and catch. They say they don’t know what the commission will do with the information, and they worry they’ll be shut down because of it. Captains also said they just don’t think they’ll have time to fill out the logs. Read the rest here 07:54
Have you noticed that the ENTRANCE BUOY to EVERY HARBOR has the most ACTION you’ll see all DAY. You pass it at least TWICE a DAY. Now that would be the MOST PERTINENT INFORMATION I’d declare…
These captain should worry about their information they give out.! Back in the seventy s ,NOAA mandated log books for fishing in GULF of MAINE . Captains asked ,NOAA , why did they want this information ,NOAA told us ,this information would not effect our fishing habits . Five years later , our most productive fishing grounds were closed down and are still closed today!
SO MY FELLOW FISHERMEN BEWARE !!
Aside from the Harbor Entrance I heard there was some Hot Cod Bottom, that was better suited for Deer Hunting. Can a Computer tell the difference between Land and Sea. A Numbers a Number a Number. The Machine is only as smart as what it was fed, Fish do have Tails too, Here Today gone Tomorrow.Besides according to the Computer there are no Fish.
Seeing, is( with my eyes) believing !!
NOT what people think and put in computers.
Well you saw what happened with the honest responders info. Your own WORDS infact…
Where are the Industry supporters on this ISSUE. What does “BOAT US” have to say, OVER???
