In all the years I fished there ,I never heard of any damage to the grounds .Our nets only went down to 100 fathoms or 600 feet the canyons go for 1300 feet .We need these grounds to survive and if anyone can show true information that we hurt whales ,dolphins ,turtles please provide it .SAm
