Why is it wrong for the fishermen to bring a lawsuit but is alright for Mr. Shelly’s CLF to profit from lawsuits?
CLF’s Peter Shelley at Talking Fish wrote: Blowing Up the New England Fishery Management Council. He won’t post the rebuttal comments but we will!
Comment on Talking Fish that doesn’t seem to be accepted. Mr. Shelly and CLF make a living from suing NOAA and fishing for dollars. For that they get nonprofit tax status. So the taxpayers pay twice 1) for nonprofit status and 2) because they file so many lawsuits they win by default (a scam all NGOs have perfected). Unlike fishermen who do pay taxes and support local economies. Contrary to Mr. Shelly’s claim the majority of people on the councils are not fishermen, and one of the so called fishermen that is on the council is a paid spokesman for the ENGOs (John Pappalardo).
And let’s not forget who owns one of the observer companies and is profiteering off the backs of the fishermen, none other than a former regional administrator from New England.
This is the very definition of crony capitalism folks. Using your power and influence to profit from a government mandate put upon the hard working men and women of this food producing industry at the worst possible time. Again, control the food…control the people.
And people wonder why folks like Ammon Bundy do what they do? Not me. The ranchers out west are dealing with the same sort of tyrants from federal government agencies that rule over them as fishermen are. Just different agencies, BLM instead of NOAA. Tyrants none the less.
The only comment that made the Talkingfish website was after it was posted on Fisherynation, other comments were not put up. Maybe they censor negative comments, Peter Shelly doesn’t like people calling him out. Mark Phillips
Truthful comments of opposition are unacceptable to Peter Shelley and his aligned Ecoteers. It just doesn’t fit his anti fishing agenda. Of course, knowing the underhanded organizing tactics they accuse everyone else of, exposed by Bob Vannasses email request to the LePage Admin, shows they are as gutter low as they come.
