The New England groundfish debacle (Part III): who or what is at fault? Nils E. Stolpe/FishNet
NILS STOLPE: The New England groundfish debacle (Part IV): Is cutting back harvest really the answer?
While it’s a fact that’s hardly ever acknowledged, the assumption in fisheries management is that if the population of a stock of fish isn’t at some arbitrary level, it’s because of too much fishing. Hence the term “overfished.” Hence the mandated knee jerk reaction of the fisheries managers to not enough fish; cut back on fishing. What of other factors? They don’t count. It’s all about fishing, because fishing is all that the managers can control; it’s their Maslow’s Hammer. When it comes to the oceans it seems as if it’s about all that the industry connected mega-foundations that support the anti-fishing ENGOs with hundreds of millions of dollars a year in “donations” are interested in controlling. Bruce Hornsby wrote “The way it is” in response to segregation. I believe “THE OBAMA OCEAN POLICY” should spawn a new Song “LOOK AT WHAT WE HAVE BECOME”.
ISIS is a terror organization threatening the World. How would the Government like it if we rolled out I’mPISSED a passive Campaign against “THE OBAMA OCEAN POLICY” that would Snow-Ball across the NATION?
Is there anybody out there?
Just Blog if you can hear me.
We don’t need no Fed-Relations
We will take back control
No dark sarcasm from the White House
We’ve had enough of you LITTLE GREEN GNOMES
Hey People, they are taking are Home
No Obama Ocean Policy
Leave are Waters alone
Hey People, we just won’t to be left alone
Apparently I’ve failed to inspire. My Words and Lyrics are nothing but Psycho-Babble. My Brother told me I’m wasting my time, I’m beating a dead Horse it’s over. In my Heart I want to continue. If the Whole Nation was aware of the cost “The Obama Ocean Policy” will laden us with it would be different but the Elite 1%, The Green Mafia, The Government and the National Media they control has successfully kept this in the Shadows. The 99% that we make up either has no idea or they just don’t care. I tell you that’s a said State of Affairs. I’m becoming EMOTIONALLY NUMB that should make the GREENIES happy. Maybe it’s time for me to grab my Balls walk of the field and move away from the Island I grew up on and LOVE. A new place a new Life and not look back. I’m not a quitter but I’m not getting any younger, my Health is not great, and it may be time to pull the Burr out of my ASS. Then apply the time I’ve wasted beating this dead Horse for the last 5 years, put on my Rose colored Glass and work on my HAPPINESS for what time I have left. I’m not looking for sympathy it’s just time to be realistic. It’s been real it’s been fun but it just hasn’t been real fun. That’s Life!!! I will say KARMA will take hold at some point and I’ll be ready for that.
I sympathize with you. We keep asking the eternal question “How long will this bullshit go on”? The problem is our enemies get paid to wreak havoc. All the while we struggle working our asses off trying to keep our heads above water.
I’m convinced and have been for a long time that uncivil disobedience is the only thing that will turn the tide. Our nation has become bogged down with useless government agencies, whose regulations have strangled growth and prosperity. Unless you are working for one of the multitude of enforcement agencies whose roles have swelled enforcing this choking beuracratic nonsense your future seems to be in peril. We have become a police state. The trouble is they’re policing in all the wrong places. I pray for leadership that will start to undo all of what is destroying our country.
Next month be sure to vote for small government conservatives that share the vision of our founding fathers!
