Autopsy reveals “Deadliest Catch” Skipper Tony Lara suffered a heart attack in his sleep
Mead County Sherrif Ron Merwin said that the autopsy showed scar tissue on the 50-year-old reality star’s heart, which “is consistent with the effects of a heart attack.” Even though this was likely the case, they are still waiting for the toxicology report to come back. No signs of drugs or alcohol were found in his system at the time of his death, though. Lara was a veteran crab catcher and was the ship captain on the Discovery Channel show.
