An unplanned event. A stroke.
Good morning from BH and Carol. We are at the hospital where BH is being treated for a stroke. It’s very scary. His vision has become affected. We’re going to be working our way back. He feels like he’s letting a few people down. >Click to comment<. 12:07
We wish you well, brother.
Thanks for all you do on our behalf.
Thank you, Brother Jeff, I made it home yesterday, and Carol and I have a long journey ahead of us. The phone is ringing for more appointments!
BH and Carol you are both in our prayers.
Be well
Bless you, Dave and Ellen, It means so much to us in this uncertain time.
Get well brother. Thoughts and prayers going your way. You’ve got this.
I know you’re worried about not posting anything. Just remember, health first! This must be your only concern. This other stuff will all be here when you’re feeling better.
Get well my friend!
Thank you, Brother Joel. The health priority is understood…
well old man, you better, get better! You’re not done yet!!
I hear you, Eel Whisperer. Loud and clear!
Ed, so sorry to hear about your having a stroke. I know how committed you and Carol are to keeping Fisherynation as the best go to fishery news site in the country, but your health comes first, so step back, take a deep breath, and chill a while. Stress will kill you, and so will worrying about things you have no control over. We all need you to be healthy, so relax a bit and recover, our prayers go out to you and Carol in these trying times, Jim
You know yourself, Jim, we are times, blessed with challenges but this one’s a doozy. I have also been blessed with Carol, who is my go-to guy for everything about me. Nurse comes in the room, asks a question, looking at my stupid face for the answer I can’t muster, and she answers it. My sister called today saying she was the best thing ever in my life. She is right.
BH; your posts are getting back up to steaming speed indicating you are as well. Steady as she goes!
I’m doing a little better, Geordie, but the vision thing plagues me. It was out of wack in the morning, but after getting another unit of blood drained today, all of a sudden, I can see almost as good as before the stroke. Very strange, Geordie King.
