Impasse between fishery and tribal leaders puts Puget Sound salmon season in jeopardy
State fishery managers announced late Tuesday they had reached an impasse with tribal leaders over a salmon season this summer. It will now be in the hands of the federal government to make the final decision that will affect the livelihoods thousands of people connected to the salmon fishery.
